Procedural and clinical outcomes of transcatheter aortic valve replacement in bicuspid aortic valve patients: a systematic review and meta-analysis
Conclusions: This assessment of the available data on TAVR for BAV shows promising outcomes and low rates of complications. However, further research is warranted to reduce the heterogeneity of the available data and provide insight into outcomes beyond two years of follow-up.
Outcomes in Patients with Electrocardiographic Left Ventricular Dyssynchrony following Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement - PubMed

1 Cardiac Electrophysiology, Michigan Medicine, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, Michigan, USA; Cardiology Division, Department of Internal Medicine, Faculty of Medicine Vajira Hospital, Navamindradhiraj University, Thailand. 2 Institute of Cardiac...
Conclusion: Among TAVR patients with preserved LVEF and normal AV conduction, development of post-procedural LV dyssynchrony secondary to high-burden RV pacing or permanent LBBB was associated with significantly higher risk of death and cardiomyopathy at one-year follow-up.
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement for bicuspid aortic valve disease: does conventional surgery have a future?
Source : https://www.annalscts.com/article/view/16945/html
Video Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) for bicuspid aortic valve disease: does conventional surgery have a future? Bicuspid aortic valve (BAV) disease affects people worldwide as the most common congenital...
Relevance: This review aims to outline BAV associated diseases and their treatment strategies, the main TAVR adverse outcomes associated with anatomically complex BAV patients, TAVR strategies for mitigating these risks and the current state of cutting-edge 3D printing and computer modeling screening methods that can provide otherwise...
Coronary Access Following Redo TAVR: Impact of THV Design, Implant Technique, and Cell Misalignment
Source : https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S193687982200927X?via=ihub
The implications and potential challenges of coronary access after redo transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) are unknown. The authors sought to evaluate the impact of different transcatheter heart valve (THV)...
Conclusions: This study demonstrates that different redo TAVR combinations are not equivalent in terms of future coronary access. Redo TAVR using a tall frame valve in a failed tall frame valve and misaligned cells may lead to potentially challenging coronary access.
Cost-effectiveness of transcatheter aortic valve implantation in patients with severe symptomatic aortic stenosis of intermediate surgical risk in Singapore - BMC Health Services Research
Source : https://bmchealthservres.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s12913-022-08369-5
Objective The objective was to assess the cost-effectiveness of transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI) in patients with severe aortic stenosis with intermediate surgical risk in Singapore. Methods A de novo...
Conclusion: TAVI is unlikely to be cost-effective in intermediate surgical-risk patients compared to SAVR in Singapore.
